In
our practice, our goal is that all patients receive the care they
need without finances creating a major concern. For this
reason, we offer several options for payment.
- Cash, Check
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover
- An extended medical payment plan which (when pre-approved)
will allow monthly payments
Regarding your consultation appointment:
All
consultation and x-ray fees are due on the day of your
appointment. As a courtesy to you we will file these charges
with your insurance company so that you may be reimbursed for any
covered procedures. Before your surgical procedure, a
treatment coordinator will meet with you to answer any questions you
may have and to assist you in determining an ESTIMATE of your
insurance coverage for your surgical procedure.
Maximizing Your Insurance coverage:
Please
understand that your insurance policy is a contract between you and
your insurance company. We do not have the ability to
determine the exact amount of your coverage. However, we will
provide you with an ESTIMATE of coverage based on the information
you bring with you to your appointment.
Your payment due on the date of surgery will be based
on our estimate. To receive the most accurate estimate of
benefits, you will need to bring your benefit books for medical and
dental insurance (many of the procedures performed in our practice
may be covered by medical insurance.) Please highlight your
deductibles and percentages of coverage. If this information
is not available to us on the date of your consultation, you may be
asked to pay the entire amount due for your surgical
procedure. Your insurance would then reimburse you for any
amounts your are entitled. If you are unable to locate your
benefits booklet, please request this information from your
employer.
To relieve immediate financial burdens, we will allow
sixty days for your insurance company to make payment on your
estimated balance (providing your insurance carrier honors
assignment of benefits.) After sixty days, you will be
responsible for paying any remaining balance. Again, please
remember that we file and accept insurance payments as a courtesy to
the patient.
If you have a question regarding your particular
insurance coverage, please call our insurance coordinator at
275-3681, extension 3010 before your scheduled appointment.
We hope that you have found this information
helpful. Should you have any further questions, our treatment
coordinator will assist you at the time of your consultation
appointment.
We appreciate patients that choose us for their oral
surgery needs. Our goal is to exceed your
expectations.
